FireFox Addons Empty FireFox Addons

Post  rabinod Tue Mar 11, 2014 1:41 pm

I saw below already
Can I enable / disable add-ons for Firefox and/or Internet Explorer and/or Chrome?
No. It’s something we’re looking into for future updates of PolicyPak; but that specific function is not available at this time.

What I want to know is; can I use Design Studio and create my own pak for this, or is it problematic and I should not even try and just wait?

currently I'm evaluating the product and this is one of the controls I needed. I was looking to block add-ons, totally or by name.

FireFox Addons Empty The PPAM engine doesn't support add-ins yet

Post  jeremym Tue Mar 11, 2014 4:28 pm

My understanding is that Firefox addins disabling is possible.. I have to get more information on it.

The others are not supported by the engine, so there's no point in a pak, since the engine itself cannot accomplish it at this time.

I have to circle back on this and could be a little while.

I'm going to be shooting a video of this soon and sending it out to all customers.

In this example (which will be in the next shipping IE 11 Pak)...
I've added these four:
