Google Chrome GPO not working
I built a GPO using the Google Chrome 31 for Windows 7 and later which is not working as expected. The two things this is supposed to do is to set a specific home page and route users through our proxy server.
When logging in on the client machine I see the GPO is applied but the page being loaded is not the page I entered and the Change proxy settings button in the browser is grayed out.
The version of Chrome on the system is 34.0.1847.116 m.
Thanks, Bob

Let's go thru the basics...
1. Look at the GPO's guts when you edit the entry. What version of the Pak is it? http://screencast.com/t/u6vl9U3h
2. In the SAME GPO, does "Winzip 14" work.. or anything else? Can we rule out you NOT getting the GPO?
3. Time to look into the log files. Logs are always in username\appdata\local\policypak
4. Run GPupdate then read the last "run" of ppuser.log or ppswitched.log to see what's going on.

Re: Google Chrome GPO not working
PAK version is 3.9.603.1.
I added Adobe Systems Acrobat Reader XI to the same GPO, made a small change, and that change is running fine on the user workstation after logon, so definitely seems to be something with the Chrome application.
I have run a PPLOGS from the system and will send via email.
Thanks

Re: Google Chrome GPO not working
The logs shows that Chrome stuff is applying and required values are being written in regedit. So, doesn’t seem to be a PolicyPak issue.
