Chrome 31 for Win7 Pak Empty Chrome 31 for Win7 Pak

I originally emailed about this problem and I thought I had found the solution, but I have been able to reproduce it.

Using Chrome 31 for Windows 7 or later Pak compiled with 3.9.603.1 on a Win7 32 bit PC I get this error when I launch Chrome...

Your preference file is corrupt or invalid.

Google Chrome is unable to recover your settings

I get this error with both a normal install (only installs for that user) or the stand alone install (installs for all users.)

Chrome 31 for Win7 Pak Empty This is the kind of thing for support.

Please run pplogs.exe on your target machine and send the log files to support@policypak.com

Would be good if you could also EXPORT the XML data from your GPO like this: http://screencast.com/t/n56MMqEz1i and attach that as well, we can try to reproduce.

Thanks in advance.

So, we isolated this as a bug, and a fix is forthcoming.

When available, it will be in the PP Customer Portal.

Thanks !

PS: Should be soon !
