Updating the PolicyPak License GPO after renewal Empty Updating the PolicyPak License GPO after renewal

Is there a method to update the current GPO with the PP renewal license?

In other words, can I point to an existing GPO and place the renewal license there? It seems if I run the LT with proper rights it simply creates a new GPO with the default name. It never gives me the opportunity to browse / select an existing GPO.

I know that I could run it without "create" rights, but that is not ideal for our environment.

Thanks.

Updating the PolicyPak License GPO after renewal Empty How LT updates

Yeah.. You've got it.

1. If you run LT with the right rights, it will always try to create a GPO.
2. If you run LT with "wrong rights", it prompts you for a GPO where you can (then) point it.
3. If LT finds an existing licensing GPO, it will update it. But, it only updates the "guts" of the GPO and not the GPO displayname.

We do it this way because we want you to (try) to have a fresh GPO every year.
There's no downside to this..

Just make a new GPO, new licensing data, and whack the old one.

The end.
